I purchased an 85+ 4-speed for my 82 FJ60. I plan to connect to my stock 2F and stock transfer case. Will I have also have swap the drive shafts? BTW - I have a 3 inch suspension lift.

Yes, you will have to swap the driveshafts. The late 85+ 4 speed uses a spacer inbetween the tranny & transfer. They did this to match the length of the H55f for easier manufacturing.
You may need to swap bellhousings also, not quite sure. I think the bellhousing is actually a 3f bellhousing because, well, it has 3f stamped on it.
