Hey guy I have a 1980 hj with an f engine and 4 speed trans. Looking to replace transmission oil. I found on here capacity of 6.6 PINTS? Not quarts? Also SAE 90 oil. What is recommended for these trains. Gl5, gl4? Synthetic?

There's 2 pints in a quart. I usually fill until lube comes out of the fill hole. Gl4 is recommended because it is friendly with the yellow metals inside the tranny.
