Transfer Input Gear (1 Viewer)

Does the transfer input on 72 Fj40 have 29 teeth? Thinking about installing a new Fairey overdrive unit that calls for 29 teeth.

10 for a three speed case I think only a split case as 29 splines

the teeth count would be 29 or 31 for one piece cases. check here

as for the input gear splines: 3 speeds are 10 spline, 4 speeds(early one piece cases) are 16 spline and IIRC split case are 19 spline.
