There have been a bunch of requests for another wheeling 101 day. I have been in touch with the teams starting last fall and the answers have been noncommittal, haven't gotten straight answer on if they plan on running this year.

The way I see it is we have two choices, continue to wait or put one together ourselves. IMHO we have plenty of good wheelers in the club, capable of sharing their knowledge and making a good event. Ether way would like to have a Trail Teem event if possible and will continue to pursue it.

I'd make an effort to make it...Please put a date out there so I have time to plan.

I'd be up for it...just make it close so the unemployment check can cover the gas :flipoff2: Could be a good day for all the kiddo's to come along as well.

I can show everyone what NOT to do...

I would love to see a trail team day. I've got tons to learn, and that would be a great opportunity. I would definately be on the learning end.

If you want to run down south before it gets hot, I can set up a good run on Chiva and the upper or lower loop. That would a sweet club run.

Otherwise, can you spell Payette Draw.

Should be fairly easy:

1. Air down.
2. No, really, let some air outta da tires.
3. Air down some more.
4. If you have an auto trans: power brake.
5. If you have a manual trans: levitate :D

OUCH!

I suggest the acting Pres assigns topics to be covered by presenters for 20-30 minute sessions...followed by piratical application and example. Say 4-5 presentations on the trail and we've had a great day. I suggest a trail close (time) and soon (HEAT IS COMING).

That's my $.10 (that's worth about $.02)

Damn! I had a Practical presentation ready to go...now I have to redesign into piratical...more "aaaarrr's and all":flipoff2:

GIS for piratical woman :hhmm: not so forum-friendly

and, no, cents won't do :flipoff2:

I can volunteer on how to use momentum in climbing.

I'd like to go....either if it is a 101 or just a plain wheeling day. It would be nice to get out while the weather is pleasant and do some wheeling with the CSC group instead of the usual group here at work.

So....any dates in mind? Its gonna get hot before we know it
