Traction control problem (I think)

I just read this post and it reminded me of something.

I'm a Mercedes Tech, and a few times I've found the cause of ABS concerns on some of the ML's caused by faulty pitch/yaw rate sensors. If I remember correctly, it was making the front wheels pulse goofy when making turns.

Is there a chance that some Cruisers might have the same issue? Or is this something completely different?

I doubt it. There has not been any other reports like htis one. (That I know of)

Is all still well with that truck?

Funny you should ask- I am currently dealing with that truck again- the pulley that drives the fan is wobbling and I'm trying to find out if that pulley is on the water pump or if it's just a bearing. Oddly, this thread came up first on a search for 'water pump'. Otherwise, I might have never seen your question as I rarely come in to the 100 forum.

She called me complaining of a strange noise and asked if she could drop by and have me look at it. She mentioned that the truck needs to go back to the dealer anyway because the brake system is acting up again. I doubted that 'resetting the computer' would fix it, now we'll see what they say.

Oh boy. What a mess. Sorry about this!

I know this is an old thread but it happened to me today in my 2000 LC. Was a cause ever identified of this problem? Thanks
