I just read this post and it reminded me of something.
I'm a Mercedes Tech, and a few times I've found the cause of ABS concerns on some of the ML's caused by faulty pitch/yaw rate sensors. If I remember correctly, it was making the front wheels pulse goofy when making turns.
Is there a chance that some Cruisers might have the same issue? Or is this something completely different?
