WOW!!! I'm soooo glad I saw this thread. I'm ready to pull the trigger on about $3,000 worth of parts, but do NOT want to deal with what has been described here!
 
I have been dealing with Matt for awhile. At first he was on it with his orders. Then things start slowing down and taking longer than usual. Now when I communicate with him it is nothing but pictures and deflecting on the actual item I am requesting that I have paid for.
Or my client has paid for.
I finally got upset at him and told him to s*** or get off the pot.
Seems this makes him regress to a child like antics. And doesn’t reply or re sends my anger text I sent him. What a shame such good products and he wants to act out.
I ask him to give me a straight answer and nothing. Just doesn’t respond.
@FloridaLife if you are looking to spend that kind of money beware you may or may not get it. It is a roll of the dice. I hate to write this but enough is enough. I have given him much time for him to make it right.
I’m not spending big amounts but still they are small amounts that make a difference to finish a customers rig. He doesn’t seem to care.

I have offered to fly to his place and help him with his back log of orders that he states he has. But yet he has no trouble posting and filling peoples threads with his products.
Why would post when you can’t even fulfill orders.

I was done coddling you and asking and practically begging you for my parts.
Why shouldn’t I be upset.
Either way you made me look bad delivering a truck with no door drivers door lock cylinder.

How does it feel? Matt when we can’t get a word in when you go off the deep end.
When I really just called for my parts and then you start rattling on and sending pictures of things that does not pertain to the reason I made a live communication with you.
You lose track of why I have called.
You get so into what you have made Toyota this and Toyota that. In the end you lose every reason I had called because it mostly you spewing of things that didn’t matter to our parts.
How long did it take you to send us that headlight switch?
We had to resort to the classifieds and search for one.
Because you never sent one.
The owner of the truck had to finally call you and tell you himself what you owed him and how we need it.
But it was to late we had already found one here in the classifieds.
And got it within days not months.
So we spent money on a switch twice because you didn’t come through.
So tell me why shouldn’t we be upset at you.
Why shouldn’t anyone here in these threads not be upset at you or frustrated that they send you money and you don’t produce. Or better yet you don’t communicate till they are starting threads about you.
Then you go blame other people.
And don’t see that it is you!

Remember I also offered for myself to fly to fly from the west coast to the east coast to help you fill orders.
So don’t make me look like the bad guy because I finally blew my top.

I hope you get everything straighten out and catch up.

I ordered a $126 wire harness and AS SOON as I hit submit I located my original and immediately tried to cancel. He of course didn’t respond until he had already shipped it.

He did however agree to refund the part if I shipped it back, cool! Not, it’s been over a month since I shipped it back and he agreed to refund and to this day has kept my money and the part.

s*** Iike this is why people only order from huge companies. Assholes are killing any chance for the little guys.

you purchased the part on April 6, 2024 , using the paypal checkout option ...


i never received any notification from paypal that you decided to cancle the order for the part ..

paypal checkout option through shoplifty billing is not a thing merchants have access to ..

- you filed a paypal case on April 10th

- i shipped your part april 13th

- paypal does not notify a seller that a case has been filed , it shows up as a little red dot in upper RH corner near your profile user ID

- on April 14th , you wrote in our MUD PM


I emailed the support email twice prior to it shipping about cancelling due to no longer needing the part, but never heard anything.

- on April 17th you wrote in our MUD PM

Yes please I’d like to return it. I believe it just is being delivered today.

as long as it has NOT been installed and nice and pretty like you got it to you

i will accept a return of it , full credit back to you of course



- i did receive the part back from you a week later , it was not installed and still in my sealed parts bag , so this topic is not a issue in any way to be clear ....

- i cannot close a paypal case as the seller ,

- only PayPal can close a case

- as i mention above i did not get any case notice you filed ....

    i did get through to paypal finally earlier , i was told this is because your paypal case you filed , is now closed






    so ............

    when a buyer makes a Paypal case , PayPal takes full amount from the seller and holds it till the case is closed ....

    - i did not dispute the case you filed , because i did not know it existed

    - perhaps i am not :

why for the last several days demanding my pledged refunded for the returned part if the paypal case has been closed months ago ?

i really like being categorized in the Assholes category , it makes me think of Disney Land when i was a boy , all my dad did was talk on any pay phone he could find all day , reassuring his little guys clients that they would honor , a full return on a non-returnable electrical part , sight un-seen ......,.

all because they all made there AMAZON-NOW parts orders , before they cleaned up there shop each day , and swept there 82221-60010's in the dust pan ....

i can't say i have ever used the term or words a****** 's here on
MUD , since August 12th 2007 ,,,, i guess there is a first time for everything .....:meh:


it's always puzzled me a bit why there are no other Toyota Genuine certified parts professionals & service technical T-TEN master level technicians here on MUD ?

i feel lonely here on mud as the only a****** 's that are killing all the other little parts guys registered
supporting vendors , that are running around helping people too ...😕

So I’m out $126.00.

@ToyotaMatt ... I ordered a NOS FJ40 flasher 15 May (5804). Got an immediate email response that my order was placed, accepted and will ship soon. That's it. Via his website, no more than 10 days later from order, I requested status using the "Contact Us" page. Cordial inquiry. Just wanted to know what's going on. 10 June, using Mud DM, also asked Matt for status. No response. I've ordered stuff from him before. Went smoothly. Don't get it.

Am I out $71 bucks?

First: I do NOT have a dog in this fight, and if multiple 'MATT' vendors I have not, yet, conducted business with any of them, although that is not from a lack of will or trying.

Second: If you care at all about business, efficiency, and productivity then you should know what a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is. If you don't, Google it, because it would probably save and make you a fortune if you consulted with one. If you think it is Mixed Martial Arts... Although I'm a big fan of MMA you are wrong.

Third: I AM a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and probably kept at it longer than my family liked, but retired at the ripe old age of 53. Should have done it at least 10 years sooner.

Fourth: ANY vendor in here named Mat or MATT or ToyotaMatt or any other variation, if you post an emotional response and/or talk about your childhood and/or deflect... then you are doing the EXACT same thing as a textbook alcoholic and/or drug addict when confronted with the reality of their present situation. "IF" you truly care, then STOP! Take a breath. Remember, it is NOT about you. This after having spent decades working for the largest company on the planet, trust me, it is not about you. It is 100% about the customer, the perception of the customer, and customer satisfaction. If you want to be successful, you have to be man enough to see where you may have missed the mark short, and then make the necessary changes to improve and do better. Simple as that. "IF" you are man enough to do that, then you too, may someday reach the level of achievement of some of the most famous and richest entrepreneurs our planet has ever known.
