Going back to my comments. Matt did come through, He contacted me witch says alot for a vendor, apologized , and offered me some other parts that I may need. It was a late night again , for every Roll of 6mil 3-M Scotch I spun through , I could comfortably enjoy qtt x 3pcs of the glass lined tanks of Latrobe too …

Below is fellow member @Roastchestnuts alternate Parts he chose to substitute for the OEM hardware for his qty x2 starter kits he needed , but not in hand yet..

I chose to post this Here and not a the OFFICIAL fully staffed and checking in on a clock-work-smurf regular basis as I pledged to do just that ..,

So , this is a transparent and open way too , for me to keep shapenibg my tool box in a way and method I can do much like the FSM Step by Steps procedures …,

Order #5609 here. Glad to know you are OK and working through the backlog Matt. The trip I wanted my parts for came and went, but there will be other trips. Just need to remember not to put you on any time-critical parts orders in the future. Not an easy feat since many of your parts are only available from you!
 
I have no dog in this fight, and @ToyotaMatt does have some parts that I could maybe use down the road but if you're so backed up wouldn't it make sense to just stop taking new orders till you get caught up? I know that kills revenue, but I think it would stop all these posts in the Bad Sellers section.

I don't mean to come off as a smartass with that, just a thought of genuine advice to keep him out of this sub...

I agree. I am actually somewhat annoyed by @ToyotaMatt above post, bragging about updates to products, and how he is "banging out" so many pieces. My orders were placed in November, it'd be great if he were banging those out.

I have received two text from Matt now, claiming my 3 seperate orders would be going out the very next day....only for them to never arrive. And his reply when asked if they ever went out, is usually something about how hard he has been working on his massive backlog of orders. I understand there could be a multitude of reasons for these delays, but so far, not much clarity on those reasons.

Again, I really want/need the parts I ordered from him, and I surely hope I do receive them at some point. But I continue to lose hope with each un fulfilled shipping "promise" and day that passes. The one thing that gives me hope, are the ones replying to these threads, vouching for Matt's credibility, fingers crossed that they are right. His parts offerings look amazing, I really hope they are once/if parts are received.

Hey Matt, I placed an order on Saturday. At the time, I didn't know anything about your backlog so I thought the popup was a fluke. My reflex to click the X got the best of me, and it didn't pop back up. Website took my order no problem, and my card was charged right away.

Just an FYI, I'm not sure the popup is slowing down new orders except for customers who are already in the know.

Looks like Matt blocked me on here so I can't call him out on his BS anymore, pretty slick because as someone that does e-commerce also I can pick apart all his garbage fake excuses pretty easily and see through to what is really happening.

Good luck to whoever decides to give this guy their money....

i created one single place to professionally communicate anything parts related , when i chose this was the most efficient way forward as in getting the parts bag log to a ZERO level , i posted this link below , and stated that i would no longer reply to this thread ....
please use the method that is designed to work best for you and your parts the best way possible ,,,

I am having the same problem of ordering parts and seeing the charge on my credit card. Months are going by and absolute radio silence. He has even asked me 4 times for my email and mailing address, which I promptly reply. Nothing gets sent. This is not the way to conduct business for car enthusiasts! I really can't recommend ToyotaMatt or VintageTEqParts.com

How about some answers for orders #5703 & 5733 ???

Try posting in his communication portal thread. He seems to only be responding there are order issues at this point.

Buddy go dispute it with your CC before it's too late, which is exactly what he's waiting for....

He’s probably blocked you like he does on here when you ask where your order is. You should dispute the charge with your credit card company.
 
Me too, but he returned my money quickly. When I had the audacity to question where my stuff was ,he insulted me with a lengthy pm about manning up and admitting I was wrong or some crap. Looking for a reaction I guess. So I feel fortunate.
 
My first and last dealing with this clown. Doesn't even send an e-mail or message that he received my 99 dollar purchase. Keeps lying to me that it will be sent out by mid week , or I have to assemble these parts.Whatever.
I've never understood how this guy does his business during peoples threads when no one else does.
He should spend more time filling his orders instead of taking peoples money for new orders.
I'd be careful ordering from him. My order placed 1/1/2024 Forgot I even ordered it for a while. I want to order from vendors on mud and have on many occasions with nothing but good results but this one has left a sour taste in my mouth.
