Unfortunate because he does add value - but lacks in any business acumen or social awareness.
How can this guy be given a "Gold Star" as a Vendor. Surely the moderator/s should reconsider his good standing status as some members not receiving their parts or receiving them after a begging/querying spree (I have seen other member posts confirming this.)
 
The unfortunate reality is that @ToyotaMatt needs to be prodded.

During one of my calls with him, he is ditching his PayPal account because, when someone complains - it stops functioning till the complaints are removed - which actually caused me to use his wife's account for my second order.

To me, his clear thoughtfulness to stop using Paypal clearly shows that *he* understands there is a problem, and, he wants the money to continue to roll in despite his shipping issues.

There are other vendors here that have similar inventories.

the decision to stop having 2 separate stand alone billing services Shopify billing and paypal billing , and now have only 1 , Shopify Billing was made several months ago and is nothing new here ...

this was one of many simplification streamlining key points to help us get orders out more efficiently ....


you have received all your Parts you ordered from us , so how id further helpful to now cause added distraction and the subsequent added delay time to the folks still in line waiting patiently in efforts for me and my family to get all the back log orders fulfilled ?

we are close , but not there yet .....

its extremely un-professional to mis-quote and twist our 1 on 1 PM conversations and the lived tech call time i did spend with you all in good faith to expedite your complete order the way i tried hard to do , that you have in your hands now

it's out of character and a bit ODD you still have a AX to grind here ?

i did my best to get your parts to correctly in your hands at the end of the day , that's my Job ...


is it your Job to continue to do what your doing here ?

ill admit you did play me and succeeded , at it too , but you have your parts and that matters to me most ....

He most likely blocked you.

He blocked me from his "communication portal" because he didn't like my post there. As a result, I can no longer see his "communication portal" thread or his posts. It is a big relief for me actually because I don't see all those photos anywhere on mud while browsing mud. Keep that stuff to facebook or your own website unless it is related to the topic on hand.

Communication Portal 4.0 is no longer available. It was deleted.

I've been on the receiving side of the lack of attention of sending pictures of parts in a box that they are on there way .. and .. it doesn't happen without a bunch of prodding. The truth is the truth, and, it happened on back to back orders, months apart.

He definitely can articulate very accurately what is needed and what works, and, has good product.

Whatever.
 
Oh I see. Interesting that one can access those if you aren't logged in. I have screen shots of them. I see a member got a quick reply on an order query.

I guess that is one way to see the thread. I don't care enough to do that and read it.

I wasn't trying to be mean either. I just made a couple posts in his other thread and got the "cold spec" treatment and was slapped with a stack of "snow version" labels and sent on my way.
 
Log out and view the forum you'll be able to see everything, he has you blocked it's actually pretty slick he blocks anyone who has anything bad to say about him so they can't warn people who try to do business with him it's also why he's trying to direct you to his "communication portal". He's been doing it for months, I think I have the badge of honor of being the first when I called him out for posting a 3 year old picture that he had posted before of a usps supply delivery that he tried to use as an excuse again for why he was so busy. I remembered the picture because it had priority mail flat rate large game board boxes delivered to him which were discontinued years ago and I called him out on it back then too.
 
Not a good way to run a business. Learned my lesson. Appears that for most customers with this vendor, they'll have to learn as they go.

When folks chime in as say "You'll get your order, don't worry" - it's not a worry thing. it's a hassle that doesn't need to happen.

And, to repeat, there are other vendors here that have been outstanding and responsive and business like. Nothing but kudos to the rest of the vendors I've worked with ... which has been a lot this year.

The irony of all of this really is that he gets upset because people don't keep posts about "pending" orders on his "communication portal" but he goes and wrecks other threads with countless, irrelevant photos that really belong on instagram, facebook or whatever. It really is a bunch of "muda".

My reason for my comments is to let those that are having challenges with you providing an expected business like approach- are not alone and to reset their expectations.

You can either address the perception or not.

As stated before, your knowledge is outstanding. The production you sell are outstanding.

How you handle your customers is not outstanding.

Not seeing your posts doesn’t matter to me, but - it’s silly and won’t stop me from responding to those that are frustrated in your product delivery.

Nope I’m the first, forum owner banned him for two weeks after making a threat on the open forum. The thread was deleted after this occurred, it was a bad seller thread back in like 2017 if I remember the date correctly.
