Yeh no hard feelings at all. They do a respectable job packing but if your delivery guy is Ace Ventura, you're gonna end up with some damage. That is disappointing to hear. I think someone else posted that their radiator from Sierra had a decent amount of bent fins.
At least they offered to make it right.
Call them and ask.Does anyone know how to return an item in case if needed? I read on their website that only "authorized return" is allowed. Do I just email them and wait for a reply saying it's ok to return? (If no reply, that means return is not allowed for that particular item?)
lol I just received my headlight, which is a part about the size of a gallon milk jug and factory packaged in a carton the size of a small microwave. Serra took that sealed carton and packed it inside a double carton the size of a small refrigerator, filled with expand-a-foam bags. I had a few extra little parts to ship along with the headlight, but they went overboard on repacking everything, in the best possible way.Ordered a few large items from Serra during 25 off sale and they've already been delivered. Seems like they're getting orders out the door quickly.
I will say they were not packaged as nicely as in the past. Cv axles arrived with bent shields (was able to re-form them pretty easy) and driveshaft looked like it had self ejected from the box and was taped closed again mid trip.
Michael at Serra did offer to send replacements for the damaged items which was appreciated. Hard to beat these sales.
That was my radiator. Still ok, so not thinking about much. That is disappointing to hear. I think someone else posted that their radiator from Sierra had a decent amount of bent fins.
At least they offered to make it right.
I wouldn’t trust those plugs.So.. there are TWO Serra toyota's in Alabama! I evidently ordered the last three orders from Birmingham, I won't make that mistake again!
First few shipments, man, I was astounded. Last 2.. sort of so.. so.. todays... a dumpster fire.
4 shocks, chucked in a WAY oversized box (more than 2ft of space) with some bubble wrap. Fuel filter just in it's own box, well, not any more, box crushed, assembly bouncing around with the shocks. Smalls in padded envelopes, but 8 new irridum plugs, only two still in the boxes.
Not sure what to do about this. Biggest concern is the plugs. Only two were still in the boxes. With as much room as was in that box, it must have been a heck of a rough ride from AL to AR. I could put 10 more sets of shocks in that box easy!
Any concern with the plugs being subjected to 4 shocks banging around and them banging into each other during the trip? View attachment 3932801View attachment 3932806View attachment 3932810View attachment 3932817
Just got a 4th of July sale notice for Ourisman out of VA. I'd imagine the Southeastern dealers (who offer better discounts) will be starting theirs soon.Anybody know when the 4th of July sales tend to start? Need to order a condenser...
