What would the unit look like/part number that would have come with a 1965 FJ-45 pickup?

Anyone have a picture or two?

Thank you.

Part number from my '65 parts book would be 09110-35011

biggest give away that it would be a '65 would be the screws are flat heads and not phillips like later styles

Steve, if you need one for sizing up I have one you can take a look at up close and in person....... I also have the bracket that goes under the seat...

This bracket is the same on the FJ55 at least the early years. While I had the jack the bracket to hold it was missing. I picked up a bracket from a early FJ55 and if works perfect. Even uses the same three hole to bolt to the floor. Next week I will compare the FJ45 jack holder part number to the early FJ55 jack holder number.

58708 CARRIER SUB-ASSY, JACK
58830-90351

Comes up as a valid number in ToyoDIY for both FJ45 and FJ55, but since no price displayed this usually means it is discontinued or replaced with a new number. Beno may be able to help further on the official Toyota USA channels. In anycase good to know one can be pilfered from a piggie if needed.

I just sold one with that part # and it came out of a nov 64 build lwb 45, titled as a 65!

This is the jack mentioned above. Part number is 09110-35011, but the neck screw is opposite the crank. Also, the base is larger than later jacks with this same part number, and does not have MADE IN JAPAN.

I checked my 65 FJ45P-B LP-B parts book and the jack holder has a different number. Last night I had a chance to look at my Nov. 67 FJ55 micro-fiche and it had the same number as the 65 LWB truck book. That number is 58830-90110. Now the question did Toyota just supersede the part number with the same holder or was there a change between Nov. 67 and the 71 FJ55. The one I currently have in the truck was from a 69 FJ55. The second one I have I've never compared to the first one. I just bought it because I like the way they worked and it was cheap. Haven't seen where I placed it in years.

I also have the jack handles from under the back seat of 69 FJ55. These are also different than any other handles I've seen. The bottom of the seat was molded to the fit these handles including clips to hold them in place. I was going to buy the whole 55 out of the junk yard but when I went to pick it up a yard monkey had used moved it by running the forks on the yard lift thru the windshield and lifted the 55 by the top.:frown: So I just ended up picking up a few parts.
