Thanks Mot. From the pin out pictures it appears that the one with the sticker over the bulb area doesn't illuminate. I'm assuming this since there are only 2 pins to the switch, which would be used for switching and not illumination. The switch with the 4 pins looks like it would just wire into the green and white wire which is the wire used for ambient illumination that can be dimmer via the dimmer rehostat.

I received the switch from CDan shown in post #1. It does have a bulb for illumination and I took a couple pics of the back. The left pic shows the connector recepticle in place, but it can be popped off with a small screwdriver. That reveals four blades. The top two are for the illumination and the bottom two complete the power circuit for the fog lights. I am no wiring expert but all you need is to bring 12V from the adjacent cabin light dimmer output over to the illumination post and then bring your 12V power in from the foglamp relay across the bottom two poles. So when the cabin lights are on the switch will illuminate and when the switch is thrown, it will complete the power circuit to turn on your fog lights. I'll post it up once I am done wiring.

the connector looks identical to several of the 4R/GX470 switch connectors (also the Taco fog light switch). Just another venue for the white female connector if you can't otherwise locate it.

I finished wiring the switch. Having removed the whole female connector housing from the back and that exposed the four blades, I picked up four very small female crimp connectors, made my own harness and shrink booted each connector and then taped them all together. If you pull on the edge of the dash panel where these switches are, it will pop loose and slide out enough that you can get behind it to pop out the mirror switch and the other blanks. That will give you plenty of room to manuever. NOTE: You CANNOT pop out the rheostat switch without disassembling the back of the switch because the switch body is bigger than the switch hole. Just unplug the wiring from it and that will giver you enough room to splice into it.Picture on the left shows the dash pulled out and the loose plug for the dimmer rheostat. Connections are as follows, looking at the back of the switch as in post 36:
Upper left blade: Spliced to green wire on back of dimmer rheostat.
Upper right blade: Spliced to white/green stripe wire on back of dimmer rheostat.
Lower left blade: Wire to fog light relay.
Lower right blade: Wire to fog light relay.
Once I get my relay and lights I'll post those connections. So the way its wired now it is illuminated along with the dash lights and brightens and dims with the rheostat.
Upper left blade: Spliced to green wire on back of dimmer rheostat.
Upper right blade: Spliced to white/green stripe wire on back of dimmer rheostat.
Lower left blade: Wire to fog light relay.
Lower right blade: Wire to fog light relay.
Once I get my relay and lights I'll post those connections. So the way its wired now it is illuminated along with the dash lights and brightens and dims with the rheostat.

Question on the Scion switch...
After it's depressed and the circuit is complete, does it also illuminate with a different color (or brighter lamp) to let you know your fogs are on?
Kinda like the rear heater switch?
I like the clean look of the Scion switch, but I need an idiot light to tell me when my fogs are on during the daytime
