I have swapped in a fresh desmogged '78 2F and 4 speed tranny/TC into my '65 FJ40 to replace the worn out SBC & auto tranny. The distributor that came with the engine is a 19100-61100, which seems to be in decent shape with a working vacuum retard/advance actuator. It doesn't appear that new caps are available anymore?? If not, I'm looking for either an affordable way to utilize a reliable Toyota distributor setup or possibly going with a DUI setup. I don't currently have a side cover for a large cap distributor but I could try to source one. Also, I don't really want to put a big dent in my existing one. Is the large cap distributor my only real option, or are their any other recommendations for keeping things Toyota and not breaking the bank? Here are pics of the existing distributor:

Mine came with a Delco dizzy and a Rochester 2bbl back in 82. They are both still there. I need to clean the carb for perhaps the second time ( back in the 90's the leather cup for the accelerator bonded to the housing. I likely make a bushing for rotor bug shaft - seems to be a little loose. I like the straight mechanical advance dizzy - dirt simple. In the summer I can run the timing jacked way out of the window - can't do that in the winter.
