why did you need to get that @NLXTACY ? My 94 and almost all the 1FZs I have dismantled have the 4 pin from the factory. I guess someone removed theirs?

to the OP, towing a popup will be a piece of cake for the 80. so long as it's a normal size popup, some of those newer ones are luxury yachts

Mine only came with the 4-pin because my truck had the tow package. No tow package no 4-pin.

What does the tow package come with? If you have the factory hitch do you have the tow package?

I'm not sure there was ever a factory hitch. Fairly certain hitches were port/dealer installed. Mine has the hitch from day one but there was no "Toyota" stamping anywhere on it. I would assume one begat the other.

OEM hitches were valleys afaik. 95% of the ones I've seen were those. Never seen a Mr T hitch. Unless those valleys were port installed?? @cDan or @beno may know.

I wish I was supercharged.

I will.l be running 37s hopefully with in the next few months. Putting together a lift.

I would not worry too much about it, it is nice to have the extra power but I towed without it before the s/c and it was just fine.

S/C doesn't do much under 2500 rpm so it only helps pull the trailer when you wind up some higher RPM. Not gunna notice much difference at cruising speed.
