Thank youIt was in the later eighties when Toyota dropped the PTO winch in the US. Definitely gone by 79. Other markets got the PTO winch thru the end of the 40 series and beyond. 60/70/80 series had the winch as a option but not in the US. The way one of the CATs is mounted on my FJ62 a PTO couldn't be installed.
The Pintle was standard in the early sixties. Unlike other things where a VIN used used for a change the technical bulletin just no longer be standard. Being it's dated in 62. But pretty was always a option. For military trailers I use one that has the cotter pin to lock it. On my 40 I use the eye bolts for the bottom two bolts for the safety chains.
