Hi I'm planning to towbar a FJ40 about 300 miles this weekend. It currently has a "lincoln locker" in the rear diff. What's the best procedure? Should I disconnect the rear driveshaft? Also one wrecker told me that he always puts the tranny in high gear and keeps the clutch in ( with a stick jammed between the clutch and seat) to keep the oil moving in the tranny for a long haul. Does this sound plausible? Any general suggestions regarding this matter is appreciated.
Thanks.
