Gooseneck, chains, wiring harness

Took a while to find some steps that would work. These ended working great! We did have to do modify them so they would fit.

Hydraulic jacks, pump, and wiring. I tried to go electric but getting the motor and jacks to fit in the front compartment was just to confined

The spare tires are mounted under the trailer about 4' behind the gooseneck.

I will get the weight and height figured out this week. The length is exactly 53' tip to tip. I weighed it Thursday but didn't have the spare tires, tire mount, or the steps on the trailer...at that time the trailer and camper weighed about 12,800 lbs.
 
That thing is Amazing!! Definitely the ultimate crawler hauler. Excellent work sir.

Bodean and myself took the trailer on a 100 mile trip today. It pulled very well. We had everything loaded...25 gallons of fuel, 40's full of fuel, all parts, ice chest half full of water, both spare tires. Clothes and food is all we lacked.

Total weight: 34,980
Trailer axle: 20,080
Drive axle: 9,440
Front axle: 5,460

Tounge weight: 5,000 pounds on the nose.
 
That's some heavy hauling
 
Heaviest that I can ever remember was around 29,000. We have always been above 27,000.

The truck will have a B36 tag, trailer will have some kind of private semi RV tag...(lady at Rankin County has been handling commercial tags for 35 years...she told me what to do)

She said I'll be legal ( as long as I maintain my class A license) ,and will not have to cross scales.
 
Is that what your target was?

How does that compare to your last setup?

Target weight was actually around 34,000 or under fully loaded. After we were into the build, I knew that was out the window.
