Thanks Justin it's just about there and shouldn't need much more than a set of gauges to finish it off I have a hitch for class 3, the gooseneck and now the 5th so I should have it covered Mike I went with the Firestone Ride Rite kit most guys in the Cummins forums and RV forums talked good about them http://www.truckcustomizers.com/pro...springs.html?gclid=CMXZnany2LkCFc9i7AodaWsAYQ

I also looked at the Air Lift and Pacbrake

LOL, that's awesome. I'm still a big fan of mine as well it fits the family and our towing need with no issues. Desmogged and programmed I averaged 15 pulling the old 28FT camper or 80 on the trailer at 65 I bought her a 5th wheel last weekend so I'm curious see if I its gonna be worst or better.

Thanks, LOL, probably not gonna happen until the kids are gone and we no longer need all that real estate for cross country travel Problem for me is I'd have to do a custom build to fit my needs and most likely require a 2 1/2 ton truck to pull it too. When I can't drag the kids on those trips anymore I'll most certainly downsize to something I can put a cruiser on I need more parking space at the house I'm already the Redneck of the neighborhood

love my airbags i bought for my duramax at the time. level smooth ride. adjustable. I put the fill stems in the fuel door compartment next to the filler neck for easy access.

Well, the air bags are gonna have to wait as I recover from this latest repair. Brought it in for an EGR delete and oil cooler change. After it was all put back together he couldn't get the damn thing started.......for almost 5 weeks. Finally figured out that it was the HPOP and as soon as that was swapped out, she fired up. A couple of hiccups the first day or so of driving but so far so good. Put about 400 or so miles on her and no codes, no CEL (knocks on wood, literally). That was an expensive fix but it is running better than before and makes sense that the HPOP has been on it's way out since the day I bought it. Before we said anything to the tech about how it was behaving he asked if I was having trouble with it going into safe mode when towing a heavy load. I told him how it had been behaving and he said that's exactly what it does if it's on it's way out. They pulled the brand new screen from the oil cooler and it had pieces of teflon in it, another indication the HPOP was going out according to the tech. Now I can start it and drive almost immediately without having to let it warm up for forever with no trouble. I just hope this money pit let's me heal these wounds before the "next" round.........

Sorry to hear of the troubles but glad you got it running better than ever. I can sure see your logic spending the coin and getting it running in top shape rather than splurging for the bags you can add those anytime

Just got thru dealing with the good ole #4 injector line on my 06 Cummins. Seems like every 06 in the world has had that line replaced! Glad it happened 2 days ago and not next Tuesday as we head to Hot Springs!

Favorable conditions and tow rig is happy here is my mini max readings cruising at 70 I'm averaging 14 mpg, I'm not in a 65 mph mood to try and get the 15

Just a data point here... On the way up I gave no consideration to fuel consumption and pushed the rig at 75 occasionally hitting 80 to pass people and so on. On the way back however, I vowed to not go above 70 and realized 20% less fuel burn and averaged 11.8. Not bad for pulling the fat girl on a 24' deckover. I need to start figuring out the TX laws on dpf delete in prep for the warranty expiring.

Nothing wrong with that bud , that trailer looked heavy duty too. You'd definitely pick up a few more mpg's with the delete and programmer Hopefully Texas doesn't go crazy on their emissions laws.
