Bwahahahahaha

Those are smaller than the tires on my stock 2nd gen 4runner :flipoff2:

Oh ya....sorry....didn't want to belittle fellow Cruiser drivers. It's funny though, adding a sub-32-inch tire to your signature on a $70 SUV that's being taughted as an "off-roader"? That's friggin' hilarious! :D

Yeah, but the G-Wagon has a fancy chrome spare tire cover...

Ooo, I like that. Hmmm, maybe I could buy one for my spare on my Slee bumper. It probably would only wrap around 66% of the tire though. Oh wait, it'd be too skinny too. Forget it. :D

Funny. Yeah, i could put something bigger...but why?? It's perfectly capable with 31". Maybe you guys need bigger tire to overcome some deficiencies!:D Oh yeah, this past weekend, there was a 2nd gen 4runner with big tires (mud terrains) and lift...didn't do any better than me...actually, it couldn't climb a rock ledge that i did. So, thank you, but i will stick with my wimpy 31" tires that assure me that my drivetrain is not stressed out. My G500 is also my long-distance and daily driver where on-road safety is a concern.

Reliability?? or Durability?? Tell me more. The only "negative" thing about G500 is it's MB electronics (radio for example). The running gears (axles, drivetrain, frame, etc.) have been around longer than TLC80 or 100. These components have been proven worldwide and thru military service.

The reason for the (future) pics of RTI is because some of you (including bulldog) have doubted the G-wagen's suspension flex. As you may know, GX470 with KDSS flex is similar to LX470, according to FourWheeler magazine. As the pics will show, my G500's flex is slightly better (or on par) with Gx470 KDSS, proving that G500's axles can flex well, far superior to what you guys have "claimed." This is not meant to say who can piss further, but it disproves some assumptions around here.

Thai,
Why are you here? I've never understood why people go onto vehicle specific forums when they don't have that vehicle and then try to convince everyone there that their vehicle is better. It's like shooting pool with a rope. Move along...

Thai: Who cares in this forum about what you write? Nobody. I'm glad you think your G is superior to a Cruiser. Enjoy it! :)
This is why there is more than 1 brand of vehicle out there.

If you do continue to post however, I'd suggest you tone down your info. You're making an axx of yourself IMO. Your tire size comment is an example of this. My god, tire size and ground clearance differences alone give a rig like mine a HUGE advantage over yours (because our wheelbases are almost the same). Do you hear the word STRAP? No, if you take the bypass in your G. :D

Tone down?? When did i ever insult your vehicle??

I came here because i like TLC100...my brother has one ('01 LX470). Check my past posts on Clublexus.com under tigmd99. You guys have attacked me. Check out my original post on this very thread:

ShottsUZJ100, re-read my first paragraph of the previous post...i added a few words. BTW, i would watch those torsion bars of yours....

I'd hate to stress it out with 32's

Oh yeah, Land Cruisers and G's suck 'cause I get way better gas mileage in the wife's Honda Element!

I often check out the forums of cars that I am interested in buying. I think Thai is looking to convert one day. ;)

Actually, I like some of the information Thai has brought to the table.

Well, i am in for the long haul with the G...like you guys with TLC/LX.

Unfortunately your haul won't be nearly as long as a LC's.

It's actually amusing to watch you attempt to make up for the G's shortcomings on a LC forum.

Don't you have fellow G friends you can go play with?

Oh crap.....I'm just LMAO from this thread today. :D :D :D

Sure...come on over to G-forum. We're more receptive of other people's rides.

Yeah, my G-wagen has ONLY been around for over 25 years...it won't last long at all!:D

If I gave a Rat's Ass about 'em I might, then I could go over there and make a fool of myself too.

25 years old huh? The pix of yours seem a lot newer

You must take really good care of it. :flipoff2:

My theory is and has always been that there is no one supreme vehicle that excels at everything. This is why:

1. I own 3 different 4WD vehicles
2. I wheel with friends regardless of what they drive and never speak of "who's got the best" and enjoy them temendously. (OK, H2's suck)
3. I don't go into Jeep forums or on Jeep runs to try to convince them about my Cruiser. I go to have fun. Heck, I ride with Rover buddies all the time and I make them feel like their ride is the best in the world.

Thai: Dive into the Benz forums and go to it buddy. In this forum you're wasting your time with G500 info. I wouldn't trade my 2001 Cruiser (with the 95K of on and off-road miles on my torsion bars) for a 2006 G500 and $25K to boot. I'd HATE my new ride and where I go people'd be strappin' me for the first time. :D

Well, this past weekend, i wheeled with a Lexus GX470 KDSS, 2 4runners (1st & 2nd gen), a Rubicon, and an ATV (:D). We actually ran across a small Hummer H2 crowd (actually just 2) from a small dealership group in Houston. We all got along fine. Like i said before in this thread, i love TLC/LX...i almost bought one (literally). I just wanted something different from my brother. I will never disrespect TLC on ANY forum, including G forum. My past records on the other forums show it.

BTW, the pictures will be in this thread on my forum:

Hoser,
I don't disagree with you. I too, go to other forums of vehicles I'm interested in. I just don't go to other forums to tell them that "mine's better than their's". I think Thai is just bored and is trying to troll his way into a flame war.

This thread reminds me of that fat girl I f--ked in college............it just keeps haunting me when I think the memory has cleared ( : OK, no disrespect to large women....certainly do not want to start a thread on that as well.
