I thought the difference was brand new gear that the overlander has no idea what to do with and doesn't want to get the gear or themselves dirty. ;<)

I have been to two Overpaid Expo's as a passenger. I had a great time with the few people I know and the even fewer people I met. The event itself is a pass from now on (I'd rather overland with you brah's-HaHaHa) because anything there can be had cheaper shortly after the show on this forum used. The camping and rig watching was great. I got inspiration to build more things out of scrap wood from a family that built up their M101 trailer from visions the husband would have at night in his dreams. They were so proud of their trailer and it was infectious. One Land Rover dude was spit polished to the point that he poured his brandy from the airline bottle into the sniffer and NEVER took a sip of it. He looked great but I would rather sleep on the ground than present myself like that. I learned that less is more. I learned that old and proven is good enough for me. I figured out that joy did not come from the acquisition of stuff but rather in the experiences shared with the people I came into contact with. Really, that was what I was hoping for.

People who decide they have to make a turn but are in the wrong lane, then they end up stopped, blocking 2 lanes trying to get over instead of just doing what a normal functioning human would do - keep moving in the direction of travel and make a U-turn at the next legal opportunity.

Also, the ashshat in front of me today leaving Cotswold. Ah, screw it, too much to bother writing to explain it.

BTW, the stock 470 horn is way better than the 80/450.

Will never happen. I have tested a theory that the cool kids don't get banned or get their posts deleted. Its the rebels like me that give the "vapors" and get targeted for stuff that the cool kids, posting the same or "worse", are ignored. And you sir, are a cool kid. Then again, this is a private venue, so the rules could vary and don't have to be adhered to.
Uncool kids can only vent at the Disgruntled Veterans site.
