I performed my own test and calibration using only HF tools.

I confess I didn't watch till the end (for 10 minutes or so in) but my concern is that you are using the HF tool to calibrate the HF tool. I too saw that some tests showed the calibration tool to be pretty good BUT... HF
I know, the irony.
I found out it was out of spec, but it is also an old one and was never calibrated as required, every year.
It varied in it's accuracy depending where in the range I measured. I chose to make it as accurate as possible in the range I use the most. The electronic device runs through the batteries like crazy.

I try to avoid the harbor freight torque wrenches. I used one of the big 1/2" drive to torque my torsion bar connectors... ~170 ft-lbs, and the pawl hopped a tooth and I elbowed the ground real hard... that was not a fun afternoon
