Topnault complete 1978 tub-first impression

The body I refitted from Topnault is now in paint, I pre-assembled and it was ok but still crossing my fingers on some of the brackets and entry holes for wires, etc.. Door fit was awful so a lot of body mount shimming will be required.

When did you get the body? (Sorry if it was earlier in the thread and I missed it).

I received it in late Dec-early Jan. and sent it to paint early June the work to make it fit was extensive.

Any indication that Topnault has corrected the issues in their currently avail tubs?

No idea, I have not followed their progress I'm guessing they have if they have been paying attention.

That’s why I asked. Supposedly they have - meaning if someone was to buy one now, it would be in better shape.

I stopped by their place a few weeks ago and talked to the guy managing things. He said they have made several adjustments and fixes based on feedback.

I’m seriously considering a full tub for my next project. They had a few there and seemed excellent to me as I inspected them. I was kicking myself for not taking any measurements though.

As a side, the main guy who was active here sounds like he had to retire for health reasons, which is why he has not been as active on the forum in recent months.
