Whatever happened to Topnault?

It seems it wasn't all that long ago they were going to be THE aftermarket supplier of steel reproduction body parts. They seemed to have made a sizable investment, and also seemed to be trying to iron out the bugs to produce parts of reasonable quality.

But I haven't seem any reference to them in a while.... What happened?

They posted a bunch of bodies on one of the 40 FB pages today.

Seems like the head person coordinating the 40 series stuff and the US market left the company. A few members purchased some of the early offerings and the larger items (hood, tub) had a lot of fitment and quality issues. I believe one of the vendors used their front doors without too much of a hassle. I did see a post from them on FB as well advertising 40 parts again saying they updated everything.

I hope they are successful at fixing the quality/fitment issues and can offer a great product at a decent price.

period correct style windshield frame and doors would be nice for the "68" version as they call it

That kid works his ass off here at the shop. He gets there at 6am with me and doesn’t stop until it’s time to go home. Sometimes that’s at 5pm.
He’s done a lot of fun things in his life ( more than most ) and has a couple of super cool projects, but he’s earning that every day.
And he knows it ……
