Marshall,

How low will the tranny jack go? I need to replace the clutch in my new (non-cruiser) project. I have some tall jack stands, but didnt know how low the tranny jack will go.

Ckuck has it. And since he is done with it ha can bring it to the next event or meeting and you can grab it then.

Any idea how low it will go? Can I get it under say 18"? I will see if I can get in with Chuck.

Thanks!

Yes. low. It's not a very nice one but it has works on 3 trannys so far.

an oxy-acetylene/MAPP torch is another good one....anyone got one of these I can borrow??

hey gehn,

i've got a mapp gas setup. i can mail you the trigger attachment and then you could go pick up a mapp tank at lowes for 8 or 9 bucks. then just mail me the torch back whenever you get done with it...

let me know,

will it cut or just heat? I need something to can cut with.

oh, this is for those bumper bolts?
yeah, this is a non-adjustable type deal, so it's just good for heat, no cutting...sorry.

can you get a mapp gas setup that will cut? i'm not even sure about that...

Gehn, I have the air compressor and it's available. Only problem is that it's here in ATL. We'd have to figure a way to get it to you. Also, just an FYI...it's not very powerful so constant use airtools and what not are tough.
