Now I know why you asked if I had the bender....nice. I used to cruise one of those back in the day. Neighbor had a brand new one at the time. I remember them being much larger. Did they make a 350 2 stroke?

They weren't bigger you were just a lot smaller.

They came in 250 and 350.

i think they also had a 450 honda pilot.

The pilot was cool as well, but the Oddesey is the ol' school way to go! Had a neighbor that put a 750cc snowmobile motor in one and used to scream around town. My bro bought his first "cruiser" off same said neighbor in 92. 74 running drivetrain and cowl basically. Wow, just realized I still have it.

Finished part time on my 80.

Very cool

How do you like the conversion?! Can you tell?

It is great! It drives much better. Lighter steering, more responsive, less wandering with bad pavement, slightly better braking, no more front d shaft vibes, and it feels quicker. Funny , the front suspension lifts off the line too.

It adds power and better braking too?

Butt Dyno...HA. Felt a bit more free rather than more power....Less rotating parts to turn. And braking feels a little more positive. Less rotating parts to stop.

Ha Rick. Wish it added the flex. All my front driveshaft vibes are gone at all speeds. Feels like glass. Still has the 70 mph mild shake that I am convinced is the tires.

Tuesday starts a tranny swap in my friends Chevy. Should be fun, neither of us has done it before!

Finally replaced the 2 broken 60 series motor mounts in the 40. The rubber had failed during the FG. Now have rubber pads with grade bolts thru them. Backed it out of the shop so we could get my buddies pick-up in and found that the electric fan had stopped. Not sure if its the motor or just a fuse. Always something.

Wish I had a transmission jack. :bang:
