the 80 system ties the front left caliper to the LSPV. At least on the ABS models. If you have a low pedal those are the two that need to be bleed. And it usually takes quite a bit of bleed to get'r done.

If you pull the sensing arm off of the LSPV and find fluid in the boot then the valve is toast. That fluid indicates that there is a leaky seal and it will leak far more air into the system that it will fluid out. This will make bleeding the LSPV impossible.

Pretty!

Odd.... Josh, Josh. Right rear, right rear. Except I just inherited this truck last night.

My thinking is LSPV is busted, stuck open? All braking force was going to rear? Fixed rears, drove it last night and still no pedal. Seems like no front braking power. I'm very new to 80's but that was my deductive reasoning. Dunno. How are your brakes now Josh?
Sorry dude,
Haven't been on for awhile.... My brakes are back to "80 series normal on 37"s"... I think a full on bleed and LSPV adjustment will help as well. Hate to admit it, but Mine were so bad that the inner pad was completely gone and the caliper piston was actually braking against what was left of the rotor, until it seized. Fxxxing scary. But new rear pads, rotors and calipers have (obviously) made a huge improvement without a full on bleed.

kind of lame but I got a new vice! Been wanting a decent vice for a while and grabbed a slightly used Wilton Tradesman 1745 off of craigs list for 250.00. The old craptastic Chinese one through a jaw at me last time I used it. Sheared both bolts that held the jaw in place.

The tie rod still has that end in it and might try again with this guy.

Damn German bearings. Suppose the shiny one is probably made in China though...

Wow.... A little beat huh.

Not my wreching but excited not the less. Wally sprayed the bottom of the tub with bed liner.

And just for some more cruiser porn. This was the chassis a few weeks ago.

My winter wheeler. Replaced throttle and brake cable. Ordered new drive belt. Clean out the tank. Got new seat in it. Now just have to adjust the carb and put some lights on it.

1981 honda oddysey. 250 2 stroke engine. Smokes like crazy. But its preety fast and loud. Had to wear earmuffs saturday when i took it for a spin around the neighborhood

Make sure you reinforce the roll cage, those were notorious for rolling

Those are cool. Looks like it's already been rolled.

The cage is bent already. Need to fix it, i hit my head on it all the time
