the 80 system ties the front left caliper to the LSPV. At least on the ABS models. If you have a low pedal those are the two that need to be bleed. And it usually takes quite a bit of bleed to get'r done.
If you pull the sensing arm off of the LSPV and find fluid in the boot then the valve is toast. That fluid indicates that there is a leaky seal and it will leak far more air into the system that it will fluid out. This will make bleeding the LSPV impossible.
