I don't think I'm going to get aftermarket wheels but can't stand how far in the wheels sit inside the wheel well. Should I spacer or not. If so, how much. 1" or 1.5"

Is 1" an option? There are couple 1.25" options. If you read (search) up on the topic here, seems everyone who's installed them has nothing negative to say about them. The 1.25" spacers are likely going on my 100 at the next oil change.

How much highway driving do you do at 70mph? I know a couple tire shops here that won't mount a wheel on a spacer.

The manager at Discount Tire told me they're fine with the "bolt-on" spacers but will not touch a car/truck with "slip-on" spacers. All the spacers discussed here are the former.

I have the 1.25 spacers from Slee and they are a perfect fit. The tires are just past the edge of the fender and look much better than stock.
Make sure you install per instructions and re-torque after 50 miles.

Check the mud parts classifieds. I saw some slee sets there not long ago.

"past" as in sticking out or tucked in? What size tires?

I'm running 1.5" spacers which poke the tires about .5" outside of the fenders (not tucked). No complaints here and it looks great!

@Manhattan

Tire size is 285/65/18 with 1.25 spacers and the sidewall is just outside the fender lip. It will tuck inside the fender offroad.

Any vibrations at highway speed with those spacers? I would assume wider track is better emergency handling. Does lifting bring the front wheels in slightly as in narrower track?

Not that many offerings that I could find for 5 x 150mm spacers (for stock wheels); looks like Nitro or Spydertrax, and G2. What I find amusing is that the 1.25" spacers for various sizes and configurations of vehicles all under $99 a pair, until you get to the ones that fit the 100's which jump to $130-$140 a pair.

I got mine from Slee 1.25 spacers and using 35x12.5-18 BFG KM2. Tires are sitting nicely just inside fenders.
