Still have not heard Ryan from Extreamlandcruiser, I spoke to him last week and they were In Vegas for SEMA show. TJM was there so he was going to talk to them personally. Hope to hear from him soon, need this information so I can finish pluging the compressor wire and test the locker.

Got mine out of the box the other day just to double check, and it is just like the other pic you posted. The brackets are made totally different from yours. Maybe a difference between the 9.5" and the 8" diffs? Give Just Differentials a call, that's who I dealt with and they may be able to help you out even though you didn't get it from them. HTH

Could it also have to do with the high pinion of the front diff? Any update on the install? Will be interested in a report on how this setup works.

Just got new actuator and bracket from Mike at TJM USA yesterday. Looks like to be the same as the old one, I will try to take the 3rd out this weekend and see what I can do. As of right now the locker does not lock at all. When I turn on the compressor I can hear air coming out the diff breather line. I hope the retaining ring did not pop out of the actuator. I'll keep you guys updated.

:frown:Bad news, yesterday I hooked up the new switch that Mike sent me and test the compressor on the locker. The compressor came on and test the locker, drove it forward to see if it will lock and nothing. So I turn off the compressor and drove the truck home, got off the highway and bammm! my front end binds up and I hear thumping sound. I think the retaining clip on the actuator popped off and got wedge in my gears. Had to tow the truck to my house. I'll take pictures when I out the third this weekend. Sucks!!!:crybaby:

Well, here is a picture of the popped actuator end. Now I have get with Mike at TJM USA to see what we can do to solve this issue. I would like to keep the TJM if they come up with a way to mount the copper line end away from the ring gear. The 5.29 gear is just too big for the line to mount that way.:frown:

Talked to Mike from TJM today and he said he will be looking into this. They are having problems with the locker and actuator working with aftermarket R&P especially with 5.29 gears.

Man that sucks! I guess there are no 5.29's in OZ? Looks like mine is going to work fine, but then again it's a 9.5 and the actuator is turned opposite of yours.

Ok, finally got the new TJM Pro Locker replacement from Mike at TJM. The installed was complete today after two months of waiting and tested the locker to see if it would lock up, well it did. Will be testing it out on the trail this weekend and will report back on how the locker does. In the first picture you can see what happend to the cross shaft that was distroyed by a failed actuator. The new actuator that Mike sent me has a prebent 90 degree copper air line which was much better. The new actuator mounting bracket was still off, so I had to grind off some so it will clear the gears and fit the center mounting bolt. The only problem I had this time was the new fittings for the air lines to the third member was a BSPP thread intead of NPT. So I had to order a 1/4 BSPP tap to retap the holes for the new thread. So far everything seems good and like I said I will report back on how the TJM Locker holds up on the trail this weekend.

Here is another picture of the actuator mounted on the bracket.

Forgive my ignorance but I don't understand why your locker copper line routing doesn't match up to the pic from JT?

:confused::hhmm:

All ARB locker copper line have the same routing so I wonder what's up with the TJM unit?

The picture you have is what I think is for the rear, mine is for the front. I had the same question when I recieved the TJM Locker. Why would they position the copper line on the actuator toward the ring gear? It would make more sense to have it face the other way so there would be more clearance with whatever size gear you put in. Tested the locker on a steep dirt trail today and the locker locked up with no issue.

this new actuator came from other application .? ( part number ? )

The new actuator was redone by TJM Australia. The part number is GEN RH 92345 A.
