Thanks. I did some research on that company and seems like they went under and closed with loads of parts from customers.

I spoke with them last week. There's an issue with the company doing their website and nothing will be updated until the contract is over and they find a new host. Their largest vendor is Slee.

Slee offers the TJM T15 and the T17 on their website. Slee - Toyota 80 Series Land Cruiser Front Bumpers

I have the T17 (installed by the PO) and I'm not a huge fan of it. The style is nice, but it's pretty "light" for armor and the powder coating has failed and the metal is rusting around the hi-lift jack points. I'm assuming they laser cut the hi-lift openings and didn't properly treat the metal before coating resulting in the coating failure. I cleaned all the flaking powder coat, treated the rust, and sprayed over the area with epoxy paint. I doubt it will hold up very well... Eventually I plan to take a flapper disk to the whole thing, prime, then coat with Monstaliner.

If I was to buy a bumper I'd stick with the Slee Shortbus or the tried and true ARB. The TJM T13 looks like an ARB clone, anyway...

That's a shame, while I have an ARB for 12+ years now, I always liked the look of the T17 without the bars on it, but if its not strong........

I've been looking at the T17 and have called the the US HQ since virtually no information exist on the bumper. On a side note, how do you expect to sell a product if you don't list the features and benefits of your product and your dealers know absolutely nothing because you haven't provided them with any info, not even the weight of the bumper...rant mode off. It was explained to me about 18 months ago, Australian manufacturers (ARB, TJM, etc.) started e-coating bumpers prior to powder coating. This anodizing should prevent the rust even if the powder coating fails. If this bumper is <18 months old, I'm really concerned.

I have a 20 year old Aluminum T17 on my 92. It is light and has taken a beating. Doesn't rust. I've totaled 3 vehicles with it.

I would buy another one in a heartbeat. I don't need my front bumper to be 3/16" and weight 150lbs. I'm not rock crushing.

For $599 I think the T17 is a good deal I think its more designed for the weekend touring crowd just a little bit better than stock and can take a winch i am torn on our LX470 on getting an Ironman or waiting for the T17 on the 100 series they are test fitting it now in the US

TJM T17 Bumper is coming Back!

I'm thinking it's more than 18 months old. I can't confirm, but I'm guessing it's more like 3-5 years old.
