Currently my '75 FJ55 has P235/75R15's, I want to run 31X10.50R15. 2 dealers say that mfg. requirements call for that size to be mounted on a rim with minumum width of 7", OEM rims that are on the truck are 5 or 5 1/2". Anyone know of a source for a wheel that OEM hubcaps will mount with min. width of 7"?
Thanks for the input

OEM rims I think are 6 1/2". Most shops are reluctant to mount the wider tires but some will. I had that size on my '84 BJ60 with factory rims and a tire shop where I had an alignment done said that they were too wide for the rim.

OEM hub cap wheels are 5.5", OEM 81+ fj40/60 wheels. IMOP a 10.5 is a bit wide(by an inch) for these wheels...........but MANY fokks run them without issue
