OEM size is 285/50/20.

Suggested larger profile size with the same width is 285/55/20.

Is this the agreed upon recommendation? I don't want to change wheel size because I do not know how long I will keep this vehicle and I would like to keep it mostly stock....

Been Running 275/60/20 Michelin Defenders on my otherwise stock 14LX. They're phenomenal and definitely live up to the hype.

Fits with no rub?

You've got lots of options.

285/55R20 is a great next step up drop in size.

On that same path if you're looking for even more aggressive is 295/55R20 and 285/60R20. Even 305/50R20 and 305/55R20. Though at the wider sizes, you'll need spacers to clear the UCA. Note that these buy more clearance while also maintaining lateral footprint at stock or better to maintain handling. Important as the center of gravity increases.

Counterpoint to 275/60R20s - these are IMO a trade. For more clearance at a cost to handling and braking. Whereas the options before are potentially a win win in more dimensions.

I figured you would chime in here TeCK. Good to hear from you. Your thoughts are always relevant....

I went with the stock Tundra/Sequoia size of 275/55/20 to achieve a more accurate speedometer.

I ran some 275/60 craigslist specials for a while just because the stock dunlops were useless in the snow and that was what was available cheap and local. I couldn't tell a difference from a ride/handling/power standpoint from the stock size. Also couldn't tell a difference visually. If you're looking to fill out the wheel well, but still keep it simple, I'd go 285/60 or 295/55. Also keep in mind some brands run larger/smaller than advertised size.
