These tires were just released this year. I don't get that message when i search for it on their website, and the size is listed under the "most popular sizes" list. Hard to think they'd end production less than a year into making a most popular size of their newest tires. It even says #new right there in your screenshot.

It also says, "out of production." :meh: Don't shoot the messenger ;)

Observation, as usual temps dropped and I was lazy and did not immediately get air in my tires (Nitto Terra Grapple G2 stock size). So I been running around for 2 weeks on 32lb cold start pressure. I usually keep mine at 35 to 36lb cold start pressure. Lets just say what a difference 3 to 4lb make. Felt like marshmallows for last 2 weeks with very wavy ride quality at speeds about 70mph.

And yesterday real high was 84 lol. I can’t keep up, its 40 right now.
there’s your 4 psi loss on your morning commute.
My garage compressor stays pressurized lol.

Nokian show that tire as out of production (Nokian Tyres), so it may be difficult to get replacements; but if you tell me whether you will be mounting yours on a LC200 or an LX570, I'd be glad to give you the RCTIP.

I have the LC200.

I think the issue with that website saying out of production is because the transfer of ownership of the Nokian tire plant in Russia (sold off) because of the Ukraine war. Last year, Nokian built a new tire plant in USA (Tennessee), and are probably struggling to keep up with demand while getting the plant fully operational. I spoke with my local tire place, and they cannot get any model of Nokian tires from their regular distributor's.

I ordered mine through Simple Tire, who only had six tires in that size available. So maybe they were able to get a few? I could only find a couple other online vendors who had them in stock, and their inventory was also low.

The RCTIP for those LT275/65 R 18 123/120S tires on your LC200 is 45psi F/R.

45psi....LOL. Rattle your teeth out. RCTIP is a grand bamboozle.

I ran LT E rated GoodYear MT/Rs on my little Ford Ranger, and also Toyo Open County with Pressure in the 40's and neither caused a harsh or rough feeling ride in comparison to the Firestones or Coopers I ran at Ford's factory suggested pressure for that truck.

Just saying.

You might try 33-35PSI. You'll find better stability and MPG at those pressures.

285/75/17 121S E1 on LC200, thinking 37-38 psi. Is that accurate @gaijin?

@gaijin thanks! this may be a dumb question but what does RCTIP stand for? only thing that popped up on google was a mud forum that you posted in.

RCTIP = Recommended Cold Tire Inflation Pressure.

See this Toyota TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) for a more detailed definition of "cold" and some tips on adjusting tire pressure based on ambient temps:
