Well, stock is actually a P285/50R20 @ 33PSI. So first you have to figure out what that equates to for a load value. If you notice there is a big warning on top of the ISO metric load charts that say not to use those charts for P-Metric. Once you have that number then you go to the load chart for the tire you are converting to and find the lowest PSI that covers the calculated load from the first step. And you also have to factor in the multiplier if you are switching between P/ISO metric and LT/Flotation tires.

It’s also specified in the documentation that you are allowed to do a linear approximation between entries in the table in the cases where they do not explicitly list a load for a certain PSI.
Were the oem tires on the lx570 not the euro spec 285 50 r20 Dunlop grand trek?

My 2010 is a P285/50R20. I can’t speak for all the different years and packages though. There is also the 21” wheel trims.

Observation, as usual temps dropped and I was lazy and did not immediately get air in my tires (Nitto Terra Grapple G2 stock size). So I been running around for 2 weeks on 32lb cold start pressure. I usually keep mine at 35 to 36lb cold start pressure. Lets just say what a difference 3 to 4lb make. Felt like marshmallows for last 2 weeks with very wavy ride quality at speeds about 70mph.

What size/load range are you running?

FYI:

Nitto make two Terra Grappler G2 tires in "stock size" for your LC200:

1. 285/60R18 120S XL
2. LT285/60R18 E 122/119S

The RCTIP (Recommended Cold Tire Inflation Pressure - what you call "cold start pressure") for #1 is 33psi F/R.

The RCTIP for #2 is 46psi F/R.

If you are running #2, you are way underinflated.

I am running the XL. I tried 33 when they were new and did not like feeling. I did chalk test and ended up at 35 to 36. Running at 80mph pressure is 38 to 39. Really like the tires they run well on road, don't drift or follow ruts, they are good in rain, can be noisy but only on grooved concrete. They did well off road in dirt, sand and crawling on some limestone.

Does anyone know the RCTIP for Michelin LTX Trail 265/70R18 116T SL on Tundra Pro BBS forged wheels on a 2013 LC? It would give me a good starting point and I can adjust from there. I don't think the pressure listed on the door jamb sticker is accurate for these tires as they are SL vs the factory XL. I drove around today at 37 which felt pretty good, maybe a little soft.

The RCTIPs are different depending on if specified to an LX or an LC. For an LX, the RCTIP for a P275/65R18 is 28psi.

I think quite a few people would suggest running a little higher than that just from a “feeling of more stability” stand point.

After a bit of time on these, I'm rolling at 31psi and it still both looks low (which I know means nothing) and feels a little smushy. Of course, I am coming from a Tacoma with oversize Falken Wildpeak A/T3s, so it might just be a matter of getting used to something different. Perhaps I just need to ditch these Michelins early and get the Wildpeaks again.

Well, from a safety standpoint, you can run any pressure from 28psi up to the max inflation pressure of the tire. So if you think it's squishy, up that pressure.

And also what got said above.

Try 36 brother. BTW 33 is your real minimum on any P for P swap, door jamb is minimum.

also @uod , you’re on a 114 load. Practically stock load ID, no reason to be below door jamb. Even considering irrelevant “load” calc.

Recommended pressure for BFG KO2 275/70R17, E load rating. On a 2014 LX570.

Thanks in advance

If you mean the LT275/70R17 121/118R Load Range E All-Terrain T/A KO2, then:

The RCTIP for those tires on your LX570 is 38psi F/R.

I ordered Nokian Outpost AT in LT275/65-18 for my 2021, any suggestions on cold tire pressure?

Thanks in advance.

Nokian show that tire as out of production (Nokian Tyres), so it may be difficult to get replacements; but if you tell me whether you will be mounting yours on a LC200 or an LX570, I'd be glad to give you the RCTIP.

These tires were just released this year. I don't get that message when i search for it on their website, and the size is listed under the "most popular sizes" list. Hard to think they'd end production less than a year into making a most popular size of their newest tires. It even says #new right there in your screenshot.
