Thanks!In order to provide RCTIP, you need to provide the full tire designation including which standard it's using (P-Metric, Iso-Metric, LT, or Floation (this one is more obvious)) and which vehicle you have (LX or LC). If you have all that info, you can check this chart. I think i've fixed all the typos. Or you can wait for @gaijin to do the leg work for you.
Something I never noticed before now. I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but by load rating the stock LX wheel/tire shouldn't be fitted to a LC. Interesting.
I was talking about the 20" LX wheels.
For the 21" LX wheels, as long as it has the stock XL 113 ISO metric tire, you can barely squeeze it onto a LC with a RCTIP of 42 PSI, which is the max PSI for that tire.
Is the RCTIP on the door frame 33 PSI for the 113 XL tire (a not very thorough google check pointed to that RCTIP)? If so, then the prescribed inflation is even softer than a 20" LX. If you used the RCTIP tables to calculate you RCTIP for putting a 20" LX wheel/tire on your truck (P285/50R20), your RCTIP would only be 28 PSI, instead of the 33 PSI on the TIP cards on LXs outfitted with 20" wheels.
More murkiness on the validity of RCTIP.
I only have 10k miles under my belt in a 200 series, so I'm probably not the best for making recommendations. I run LT285/75R17s on RWs @35PSI, and I think it's great. I don't drive my truck like I stole it, but it's a noticeably different ride than my OEM 20s were. And infinitely better off road. I would say there is a little more roll, but nothing that feels dangerous or squirrely.First of all I like the way you think man, I am always questioning things as well.
Second, as i just bitched on another thread about a TSB being absolutely stupid, I not only distrust "OEM recommendations" but I try my best to validate them myself.
Third, yes i can confirm my tags are at 33 PSI front and rear. My LX 470 was 32/33 with SL tires on OEM 18s which should give you a hint at what im about to say next.
The LX is intentionally hobbled by low "RCTIP" sticker to make it seem softer than it is so they can sell it on 20s and 21s.
Not only is this misleading, but is the reason you need the XL load rating. They are under-filling them to mask the BS ride from the oversized wheels and the extra load support allows them to do that. The only reason they can get away with this is due to artificially low side wall flexion on the low profile 255/50/21s.

Sorry for incomplete details sir. For 200 series they’re LT285/65/18 KO2s.I would be glad to help you with tire pressure recommendations for your LC200/LX570, but I need more info.
Also, since 16" tires do not work on a 200 series, what vehicle are you asking about?
Finally, are you sure your KO2's are not LT285/65R18?
