Tip

A tip i learned on Mud is if you want to keep the paint out of your threaded holes put your used foam ear plugs in it before you spray. It works great.

....before spraying clean & sand your surface and clean it again very properly.
Best results you can get with silicone remover*. Don`t touch the surface again with your fingers wear thin rubber
gloves.

When trying to get the clips that hold a parking brake cable in the round hole of the bracket. It can be a *#@ to get them all collapsed at once to pull the cable out. Slide a 12 point box end wrench over the cable that is just large enough to fit snugly over the clips, work the wrench back and forth while pulling the cable from the bracket. Since there are generally 3 or 4 of those fingers that stick out to hold the cable in the bracket the 12 point wrench will cause them to be compressed simultaneously .

I made a new edge for the cut up wheelwell in my FJ40 by taking a piece of 1/2 inch tubing, heating it, and bending it, using the outside lip of an FJ40 brake drum as my bender! No more roughsawn edge!

General : Engine temperatur
After a cold start an engine reach its best temperatures ( rules of the thumb) depending of its volume of oil after 25 kilometers or 15,6 miles.
Before reaching its best temperatures never run your engine with high rpm!
To shorten this a bit drive your car with half rpms
Example : 3600 rpm would mean 1800 rpms
6000 rpm = 3000
