Hello,
My FJ40 has a 327cid SBC, which I believe was originally from either a 1965 Vette, or possibly a Chevelle. I'm presuming it's a rebuild, so I was wondering if original spec timing & gap still applies? And where can I get these specs? Also, I just picked up eight Bosch Platinum plugs, and wondering what gap I should use? Thanks..

Howdy! My book only goes back to 69, but that should be pretty close. If you still have the old dizzy with mechanical points, they should be set at 0.019", and the plugs should be at 0.035If you have the newer dizzy with the coil built into the cap, there are no points to set, and the plugs should be at 0.045. These are very standard settings for these engines over many, many years. John

do you have the part # for the bosh platinum plugs ? for that year of engine
I'm using an OLD book, so the numbers are way out of date, but it should be whatever is comparable to AC R44 plugs. Any parts store should be able to convert that to current plug numbers and interchange. Or, just see if they list for a 65 Vette or Chevelle 327. John
