I am new to the cruiser, I just picked up a 96 With front and rear lockers 3 weeks ago, had a rod knock, with some involuntary flare removal by the PO and was not well maintained or clean by any means.
So far i have done a rebuild on the motor, removed the 96 flares and installed 91 flares, repainted the 2 tone paint on the bottom half blitz black, and installed a center diff lock switch with tons of clean up, and some used 285/75/16 MTRs as soon as I get some pictures I will post them up.
I have to say thank you guys for all the effort put into this forum, lots of good information on here I still read on a regular basis.
This is not my first rig by no means, I have still have a 93 4runner SASed on 37s with a vortec 6.0, 700R4 reverse Manual Valve body, Gear drive Case ford 9" spooled, toyota front LSD (for sale)
Also have an mostly stock 91 4runner on 31/10.50/15 Baja Claws with a 3.4 Automatic Swap Sway Away torsion bars, Urethane bushings all through out, Moog Coils in the rear and factory e locker.
