Thanks for the lead on the spindles. I was not looking forward to paying $90+ each them to add the tire carrier to my bumber.

Very nice! Are you planning on adding a cross member - like square tubing. Are you planning on towing?

Awesome build and instructions for how to DIY one using low cost materials and equipment. Can’t wait to see what you do with the front. Please add it here when you get to it!

I thought the impetus for your new bumper build, however, was to move up trailer hitch and repair the stock pintle mount? Maybe that inverted tow hitch is still behind the bumper and you're busy cutting a hole to access?
If not, here’s a ready-made solution for the Receive tube:
Receiver Hitch Tube 2" x 6" -Trailer Hitch Receiver Tube | eBay

One thing I like about my bumper, that you may want to consider before you wrap things up, is the back-up lights. I had Mike from Bumpit Offroad incorporate some 50 W Halogen fog lights (these are for a Camry). They’re amazing for backing up on narrow mountain roads in the dark, as well as letting drivers behind you know their high beams are on.

I will be putting a hitch of some sort?? My stock cross member was just to rusted in the center. I want to use it as part of the mount but just "cut" my losses :D

I may mount a pintle on my new bumper or just do a built in receiver, either way I will do a cross member for strength. Only towing the Cruiser will do is maybe my pop up or a off road trailer if I build one....but nothing over 1200 lbs I would guess.

I really like the BU lights....may need to hit up ebay:hhmm:

Like the build

I am always amazed at other guys who are that talented with a welder. I am from the school of stick it twice and forget it. But I now know 3 guys that are professional welders so with their help and my fab abilities. We should be able to come up with something similar. Thanks for the spindle sources btw, I was planning on machining my own out but for that cost, I don't think I can do it for that little complete.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Welding is very theraputic in my opinion... It takes patients, which most the time I lack... But my welds come out great... Lets design up something for a front bumper bowtiestang

You can get a set of IPOR ones for the same price - and they're really heavy duty - just FYI.

Nice work! Thanks for sharing.

Sorry about slacking on the postings:D Here are a few shots with the recovery points and receiver mounted.. I am going to be adding some "nurfs" on the side for 1/4 panel protection but this will be done on a bender so really is not a DIY type thing:whoops: I will post some better pics later..

Welded in some end caps..
