Tierod and Draglink end size??

I am currently searching, but thought I would post up since there doesn't seem to be a thread about this specifically.

Can anyone verify the size of the threads on an FJ60/62 tierod and drag link? Are they the same as the FJ80 ends everyone uses on highsteer applications?

I know that (at least some of) the ends are physically different from the FJ80 rod ends, but I would like to know if the FJ80 ends and the 60/62 ends have the same size threaded shank and thread pitch. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

23mm x 1.25 and 21mm x1.25 and yes they are the same thread as the 80 series

Sorry. the pitch on both is 1.5. I just got through ordering a bunch of 1.25 pitch polts from Pointe Products.
Just stuck in my head I guess

if you re machine the 60 series steering arms you can use 80 series TRE's .. ?

from what I understand you shouldn't even have to ream the 60 arms….the 80 series arms should fit i believe

Not sure about the 80 series taper, but for 60/62 series the drag link end taper is larger than that of the tie rod ends'.

What's your goal with using 80 series components?
