New to this forum, so hoping to get some suggestions to help narrow down what this thud / clunk noise might be on my '84 BJ42. Seems like when I turn the wheel sharp to left/right when pulling out from a stopped position, right after the wheels are straightened out while moving forward, there is a thud / clunk noise that can be heard and felt from under the truck. Recently had the transfer case rebuilt, both driveshaft removed and LR and RR pinion nut adjusted, steering knuckles also rebuilt. Hubs are in Free, and in its in 2H. Seems like something is binding up, then releasing......
any insight appreciated
