Anyone care to lend an opinion on this guy? Looks good from I can tell... Seems to be priced slightly out of the market (14k). Link

-need pics of underside
-5 owner truck. no service records
-truck looks clean.
-truck spent 60k miles in Minnesota
-truck has NAV, which is not desirable.

IMO, the truck is way over priced. they will most likely tack on a $500 doc fee on top of it. But the truck is pretty!

Why would u play that much for a 14 year old car? I am just trying to figure out why as I cannot justify that cost to myself. The most I would pay for the similar condition is $8500...am I crazy? help me understand..plz.

Overpriced for the amount of miles. Looks clean though.

The dealer won't move on price. I'm guessing the price is so high because of the suspension and lift? I'm taking a hard pass on this one unless it comes under 11k.

I'd agree this one is a bit overpriced. I'm in the same general area as you and paid 15k for my 03 back in January. It had 180k miles at the time and has an excellent service history. Land Cruisers in general sell for a lot more here than areas like Texas or California where they are far more abundant. The Lexus version will also sell for less than an equivalent LC here. A quick search of CL shoes a 2000 LC with 200k mi for 10k, an 06 LC with 135k mi for *gasp* 24.5k, a lighted modded 95 LC with 147k mi for 13.5k, and a modded 96 LX with 193k mi for 7.5k (owner claims fair condition). If you're planning to mod and don't mind a little work there's a 99 LC with 158k mi already modded for 8.9k in Boone. A/C leaks and needs an ABS sensor and a few other minor things. Only the first couple are actually near me. The rest are within a couple of hours.

99' Toyota Land Cruiser, ARB, OME, MetalTech, etc

There is a black 2002 LX470 local to me (Winston-Salem, NC).
168K miles, black/tan, big scratch on hood but otherwise pretty nice.
$14.5K

I recently looked at a 2006 LX470, 178K miles, cracked headlights,
air-bag light on, actually sold for $13.5K

Dealer says the timing belt and water pump were done 10k miles ago. What do you all think is a fair price for this cruiser? It seems baselined and ready to go. I think 14k is too high, but if I were to make an offer - what number should I go with?

You must be new here. Oh wait...you are. Not to bust your balls but it's really tough to find a 2002 LC in good shape with less than 200k on the clock for less than $10k, let alone $8500. While I agree $14k might be a little high for this 2002 with 225k, it is not that far beyond the realm of possibility when it comes to these trucks. I'd price it around $11-12k based on the pics and the mods. Even #cwmoser posted right after you with a 2002 LX with 168k asking $14.5. The price premium on these things is real.
