I've missed 2 TT's since joining (both address change related), but I just ponied up and got them myself.... so first class probably would have been cheaper......
I think you need to put a disclaimer next to the bulk mailing option informing people of the non-delivery issue and the red ink problem with the bulk option. If people knew that the TLCA was paying to have them as a member at the bulk rate, I bet most would go 1st class.
