Third row bench seats for 76,77,78,79 4 door cruisers . (3 Viewers)

I was offered today some new take out third row bench seats from 76 series . Did any of the older 4 door 70 series ever get these ? Is there any interest in them in the US ?

The front attachment point may be exclusive to the 76 Series.

See the thread below, starting on post #16, for mounting similar seats into a Troopy that never had them originally. I'd expect the procedure to be the same (or very similar) to put these into any four door 70-series. It's not difficult.

Well, I've had this car for a couple of years now, and haven't really posted much about what I've done or what I have planned, so I figured I'd start a thread. It will be a lot of getting caught up for now--build comes later.

I first found this one when I was traveling in Europe a few years ago. I'd been looking for a clean Troopy for a while, and had already found a pretty nice one and bought it. But when I found this one, I knew it would be the "keeper" of the two.

I was initially unimpressed by the advertisement, though. Not much for photos, and a very brief description. Here's a...

LJ78 had drop down seats in the back, no idea if the mounting locations are the same, but probably.

I did manage to get a set of takeoffs from cuiserparts. I installed one so I had the extra seating for the family when necessary. The other side is still sitting wrapped up in my shop. These seem hard to get, so Joe, I would consider it if any others are looking for these.

I bought 6 sets today , 1 vinyl and 5 cloth all grey
