HI - does anyone have cad/dxf files they could share for the rear interior? Happy to pay if I need to - I am trying to get some ABS version made to match some I have bought for the front doors

if not does anyone have troop carrier files (I have seen them offered on here before) - I am have never tried to making CAD files before, and I hope it maybe easier to modify these? Any other advice to create files would be greatly appreciated otherwise - software and techniques

Thanks
Chris

Hello Chris, I’ll take a look too and am happy to help getting the files prepared for manufacturing. Typically, .dxf files are a 2d format used for architectural work and output for 2d type machines like laser cutters, plasma cutters, water jet etc. Feel free to pm me and we can discuss further. I have a very high end mechanical CAD system at home (Siemens NX) and can import and export most file formats.

@christreb and @DrRock , I don't have and CAD files, but have a work around that is both economical and accurate. I have the SWB LJ70, and I purchased the least expensive rear panel from Toyota (PANEL, ASSY, QUARTER) Part#62520-90K39-BO which is made of masonite / peg board material. The LEFT side is a Mirror image of the RIGHT side on my 1989 LJ70. Even the clips holes line up LEFT and RIGHT side if you can believe that. So in my case I only bought the right rear side. All said, a single rear panel quarter assembly was under $100 shipped and you can make your templates accurately from something that came off of a Toyota die and was never used. Don't forget to get your Toyota Trim Board Clips #90467-12031 to fasten your new ABS panels. I fastened my ABS panels directly to the interior body. I also put rear speakers in the ABS panels. I should have used some sound deadening material as I do get some vibrations from certain songs (ABS vibrations against body). One day, I'll put some sound deadening material in there, but it's not bothering me enough right now to do it. Hope that helps someone.
