My (wish) list: (will be lucky to get any of these accomplished!)

-"L" shocks
-De-flare rig
-swing out spare carrier for my bumper
-marlin T-case gears
- finish camper trailer

Can I get some of this stuff on craigslist? Lol

You sir seem to be able to find anything on Craigslist.

Picked up a new front diff. I'll be sticking with stock gearing for now. :boo:

Well, I think I will just roll in the 80 as usual and my list isn't bad for once.

  • Install IPOR rear bumper
  • Install Ironman 30mm front trim packers
  • build a drop for the front sway bars
  • Take the HAM license test and figure ou how to work the Radio have on the way
  • oil change
  • Wire the effin' light bar (3rd years a charm, right)
  • clean out the truck
  • check the front-end and service as needed.

My list that is now looking more "realistic" to accomplish:

-pull flares
-get "L" shocks
-get dual swing out installed
-build up camper trailer
-buy food and beer
-get ready to have a kick ass week at GSMTR!

Never been to this event before so, I have a few questions for you vets!
1. I see the event runs Mon-Sat, will anyone still be there Sun?
2. If you don't do the Expedition, should you just show up Thur, or will there be other things to do Mon-Thur, other than run WindRock trails?
3. I know 12 vehicles is a large group for a run so that's cool but, doesnt seem like very many total for an event, will others form their own expeditions if they show up on Mon/Tues?
Just trying to judge when to show up and what all will be going on, on what days.

1. Some people will probably still be there, but it's Mother's Day so there may not.

2. There will be daily trail rides throughout the park. It's totally up to you if you wanna come before Thursday. Thursday night is the cookout and Friday night is the bbq dinner/raffle.

3. Doubt this would happen, but you never know.

I'm going Monday to set up camp. Hopefully ride the trails Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Look forward to meeting you. Hope this helps.

Corey

So funny story, I typed up the following yesterday but apparently didn't hit "post". Anyway,

I've never been for the entire week. we are currently planning on a wed or early Thursday arrival.

They do generally have a couple of guided rides throughout the early part of the week.

As far as the expo run, agree with Corey. That will likely be the only run like that, but I will say that Windrock is HUGE and if you wanted to catch a couple guys it is entirely possible to make a full day run up to the north end and sleep in the truck and then make a run back the next day. I haven't ever done it and I don't know about camping on the trails, but maybe someone else will chime in on that one.

Look forward to seeing you guys.

I just thought of a few things to do.
1 register
get a new winch. Just sold my current one
Redo my trans mount and raise drivetrain to get a flat belly.
redo my skid plate,
throw a rear bumper together.
go over every bolt and make sure its tight.

Lift and tires!

Thanks for the response guys!
We will try to be there on Thur!

The ole BFG's are still going strong. I've put almost 10,000 on them. If I can manage I'm gonna try and put 315's on in the next couple of months.

Got one thing off my list. Wife just drug my new winch into the garage:bounce: too bad i have to wait till thursday night before I can see it

What would be a good date for everyone to get together and do some last minute wrenching to get ready for GSMTR? I'm thinking a Saturday or Sunday.

Alright, I figured out something I NEED to get done!

Anyone in the group have a welder and know how to use it?
I'm looking to add 2 linear actuators to my adventure style trailer to lift the RTT rack up and down.
I really just need a few tabs welded on, I hate to go to a full on fab shop...

It would probably be the weekend before because I wont be back in town till then

Let meknow, thanks!

Got to mount this sexy thing up this weekend
