I normally don't have time to get out the big cameras and take nice pictures of my own vehicles, but I finally did a couple nights ago.

As to be expected, my blue glowing dash was interrupted by a single orange light while on a drive last night. It was the first check engine light I have had so far, which I guess is something to be proud of. After immediately pulling over and checking for coolant leaks, I was pleasantly surprised to find nothing. Idle was good, temps , fluid levels, etc. That left one thing: oxygen sensors. I continued driving and once I was home, I retrieved a 28 code. The oxygen sensors did not get replaced during the rebuild as they were seized to the bung and were held in place with stripped nuts. Luckily I had an extra set of custom 2 inch downpipes made, a Y pipe ready to weld, a lot of 2.5 inch tubing and a muffler, and 2 brand new Denso oxygen sensors. I'm currently welding the Y pipe together and will hopefully be able to find flanges somewhere. Of all things to go wrong, I'm glad it was sometning I already had ready to put together.

I'll hopefully post more once I do some more welding.

I've had a busy last couple weeks, but finally got around to doing some welding today. Not a whole lot to say about it, but hopefully I can get everything to fit together tomorrow.

The Y pipe turned out great, but the downpipes still seem a little bit off. I'll hopefully be able to rework the flanges at the manifolds a little bit more. Also have muffler and resonator tip ready to go, so I should have everything I need now.

I know you haven’t posted in a while, but where did you get those DIY rain gutter mounts?

I had a local friend named Phillip Rogers cut them for me, he designed them a few years prior and still had the template saved

Forgot to update after I finished the exhaust, but here's the finished product before it was installed.

Painted everything with a high temp enamel, and fiberglass wrapped the down pipes and Y pipe to keep temps as low as possible. It's insanely loud, so once I have time to install my sliders, I'll piece together a new rear muffler section. Oxygen sensors and welds are holding up great, with no leaks whatsoever. Very happy with how it turned out aside from the sound level.

Also, I found that the oxygen sensors are in fact interchangable. When I was purchasing them, one was about $30 more than the other, so I went with two of the same side and they plugged in perfectly.

That exhaust looks awesome. My cats are shot I can smell them cooking, thinking about welding in some magniflows myself. If it wasn’t my DD I’d straight pipe it as well

It sounds exactly like a diesel, I'll try to get a sound clip one of these days. I've had people jump in the road right in front of me to yell at me for speeding through the neighborhood, only to realize I'm doing 10 miles an hour and it just sounds like a race car
