Won't even begin to tell of the story I have with my front end rebuild this weekend... lets just say it has gone poorly and made me consider completely abandoning the vehicle. I'm sure I'll get over it an get back in for more grease, but now my attention has been turned to my 92 '80 being driven by my son.

A frantic call last night to describe steam billowing from the engine. I assume blown hose of some sort and tell him I'll get to it after work today. I fill the radiator and let it run, looking for leaks. After a couple minutes fluid comes rushing from the intake/exhaust manifold area.

My question for the group... Freeze plugs or something more major and how difficult is it to get in there and inspect?

Thanks,

Matt

if leaking from manifold, throttle hose (bypass #2)
Or the other little one (bypass #1 or #3 I forget which)

Read how to open it up through search.

If it's not one of the small lines that run to the throttle body and ISC valve, I would suspect the little freeze plug on the head, just behind those intake runners.
