They are actually a copy of the TE37X by FN wheels luckily....not that I wouldn't of somehow justified the Volks had they either been avail in the right offset ....... they are only 23lbs and the design is starting to grow on me...... the only fualt is that there are no workable centers that I've found, but I'm okay with that....

Rapido has some mighty fine shocks. Would look great on my Cruiser....

haha ! yes they would.....Duggy - ping me if you've got time to connect this week for that center console...

So what's the final size for the tires. Is it the 295/65/18? Also what was you final lift height? Was just skimming over your build. I tend to work backwards. I look at the end and read backwards through the posts. Good looking rig.

I ended up with the 295's in DT flavor - they're about perfect in my opinion. Very stable and quieter then they were in 315 on my 80....

The lift is about 22 1/4 front and 23 1/2 rear...IIRC correctly....

Rapido is off to a new home in NC ..... sad day but on to the next project !

Cheers

I think I know what it is, but I'll let him chime in if he's still on 'Mud (that is a hint)

I'm lurking..... and frankly don't think I can stomach the forum associated with the new rig..... cough, cough - Heep....

hate to say it but but I ell victim to a topless siren.... 35 years without a Toyota option is unfortunate cause the difference is night and day, but it'll be fun and a second rig ( I know- I'll need at least 2...) it's an Rubicon Hard Rock fuily loaded. driving back from Atlanta to Houston was eye opening and I had a pad of paper on the front seat writing things to repalce or upgrade - seats being at the top of that list...

Cheers to all - this is an amazing forum, one I apprecaite much more after a few days scanning the 'other' similar forums.....

I'd be okay if you got into a Raptor...but man, a Jeep!? Just kidding, hope to see you out on the trails one day!

Haha, if only Toyota would offer a 4 door 40 maybe all these Toyota guys would not be making the switch.

Right, come on Toyota who doesn't want one of these?

that was a quick and very nice build!

I tried to justify a built 40 or the 80 conversion to the 4 door 40 style chassis but ....... don't have the window of time.
