It's an oil catch for the line from the valve cover to the intake.

I guess it could have some benefit? The rig didn't need it for the first 20 years, so I think it will be fine if you go another 20 without it.

Just did it for style points

That's nuts!

Are those 42"s?
I don't know Goodyear MTR sizes...
You will have to give a report on how they compair to the Toyo's in snow & ice.
I have MTR's on my work truck & they don't have the lateral stability & like to slide a bit more than other muds I have had.
Nice color scheme on the wheels, I dig em.

Thought about 42s! But no they are 40x13.50-17 same as the Toyos. But they measure 40.2 inches where the Toyos measure 39.3 inches! Lots of guys I run with use the MTR's and love them in the snow, seem to be the only tire that keeps up with the iroks.

Strange tread pattern. What's in the trailer?

Dang this is awesomely wide.
What spacers & backspace are you using now?

-10mm offset wheels, 17x8.5 and 3in spacers >:) rather deal with some wheel and trunion bearing wear then a rollover haha, and I haven't had any issues running this large of spacers for 6 months now and many trail runs!
