My rear wiper stopped working. I took it out and took it apart....there are metal tabs that touch the motor contacts...everything was dirty so I cleaned it up and re-installed....working again.

Lookin good man, :D

If you need help getn that door from Charlotte, I have an AC Tacoma with a 6-ft bed and we could road trip it down and back just LMK via PM.
Rubber bed mat and straps to keep it protected as well.

Thanks! I do little things bc I am terrible with big things. When I take things apart I have more parts left over..haha.

I still have to take pics of the 'back of the seat mod' courtesy of you. I gotta be honest...I love those things. I will get a pic tomorrow and post.

For your additional lights, in your tailgate, did you have to take down the headliner to get the wires installed? The new ones look good! I picked up a few for this very purpose but haven't gone through with the mod just yet. Also, what did you clean when you fixed your rear door lock? My rear PS side and my hatch lock no longer engage, but you can hear the electrical bits trying to do their thing...

Hey Jeremy, you can drop the headliner slightly and fish the wires with a coat hanger to the 2nd row light. That was the easy part. Pushing a wire through the 2" black tube that connects the hatch to the body took forever.

^^^ Exactlyvthis. I pulled the rubber edge off of the back of the headliner in the rear...pulled a few tabs out and pushed a bent coat hanger up to the rear dome light. I spliced into the dome light and ran those wires to the rubber tube going from the rear roof area to the rear hatch. Pull the tube out on both sides, tape the wires to a long screw driver and shove it through. I bent the very end of the coat hanger and shoved it up the side of the rear hatch...I was lucky and hooked the hole where the black tube is on the first try.

Got in a lot of LEDs....my antenna light (that works the non-existent antenna) was out so I replaced that with blue. I hanged the rear side markers with white 194s and I am going to do all of the blinkers with amber 1056 bulbs. I have the resistor things to slow the blinking so I might do that Saturday or Sunday. Also put in 194s for the license plate. Below are some LED vs incandescent. I will put the incandescent first and then the LED.

For the turn signals the LEDs aren't as 'washy' or bright. It gives it a cleaner look but if you want a light that says 'HEY I AM TURNING' it might be better to keep incandescent. I will test it out and see how I like it.

I stuck mine right on the steering column. it blocks a few of the idiot lights at the bottom of the dash.

Do you have a pic? I got the vertical mount for some reason. I am going to figure it all out when I am not exhausted. I have to figure out how to program the pages too.

Also, I guess you have to turn it on everything you turn the LC on? I am surprised it doesn't just turn on with the car.

I'll take a pic tomorrow.

Mine is stuck with surface mount bracket (hopefully you ordered that with the gauge) on the top of the plastic clamshell on the steering column. Its on the part closest to the steering wheel.

If you remove the bottom plastic trim piece under the dash, you can lace the OBD2 connector around the back of the clamshell and under the dash. Two screws hold the obd2 connector into the dash. Remove those two screws, and rotate/push the obd2 connector through the hole, back toward the footwell. Put the screws back in, because youll need to mount the OBD2 connector back for inspection time. connect the OBD2 connector to the scangauge, and tuck the excess wiring up under the dash. Sounds a lot more complicated than it is.

It will turn on anytime the ignition is in the ON position, and will stay on for a few seconds after you shut the truck off.

Went with the Ultragauge. I need to figure out where I want to mount it. I will do that later this week.

I am drooling over the color screen and updated look.
I have a ScanGuageII in my 100 and guess it works for what I need it to do.

Monitor engine and trans temps and track my miles to empty. Works very very well.

Edit: There is power coming through the OBD port plug as the ScanGuage comes on with my ignition. Maybe it's just a setting you can change.

Yeah I will have to check the ignition on....I didn't turn the vehicle all the way on. I went with the Ultragauge bc I don't need tranny temp as my model doesn't provide it. I might mess with it tonight and see what all I can figure out. No manual....might be one on their site.

It does turn on when the car is turned on. Good.

I also mounted it. Best place to be I think. I like it so far....I need to program my other pages, but I think it will come in handy.

472 miles to empty??? Either ya have to program the fuel tank size and number of cylinders/size of engine, or youve got the most fuel efficient 80 series out there

Looks great up there.
